Thanks for the feedback; I do appreciate it.

I would assume this should work, but I have not done so myself, so you'd need to test it out. Having said this, I don't like hard-coding when it comes to any solution - I feel it defeats the true purpose of failover and creates unnecessary dependencies.

First off, an excellent post. Also read-up a related article of your's on the Technet magazine http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/hh219341.aspx. Very cool and helped me get a lot of fundamentals straight w.r.t lync client functionality.
If I ran two (2) geographically dispersed pools and went ahead and implemented a GPO that hard-coded the Internal and External Server names (NOT IP Address, so that DNS will still be queried) along with Public DNS configured to return IP addresses of both the Edge access URL's across both sites, I should still be able to achieve site-level fail-over without much issues...right?
Thanks

The attribute editor is also available in Active Directory Administration Center.

See <a>http://www.stuartclowes.com/2011/10/displaying-hidden-attributes-in-active.html</a> for a screenshot.

In Active Directory Users and Computers, I found that the attribute editor is not displayed if you right-click on a user you locate through a Find operation. Can others reproduce, or am I missing something?
